TNA News: Joe Hendry Misses Jericho Cruise Due To Travel Issues, Ace Steel Celebrates Birthday

– Joe Hendry was forced to miss the Chris Jericho Rock n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea due to travel issues following his Royal Rumble appearance. The TNA World Champion was booked for the cruise and originally set to leave from Florida but as PWInsider reports that changed after he was booked for the Rumble.
The plan was to have Hendry fly to the Dominican Republic following the Rumble on Saturday and join the cruise there, but he was unable to fly to the country as he needed documentation he wouldn’t have needed if he came in by ship. The report notes Hendry tried to find a way to get to the cruise all day on Sunday but ran out of time. Toni Storm subbed in for him in regard to a scheduled Q&A.
No word on whether Jericho just tried to say Hendry’s name in the hopes he would just appear.
