TNA Slammiversary Set for Early Start Time, Won’t Run Against AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

As previously noted, the fifth annual AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event is set to take place the same day as TNA Slammiversary 2026. However, it now appears that Slammiversary has been moved up to an earlier start time so that it won’t run directly head-to-head against Forbidden Door.

Per Ticketmaster, Slammiversary will have a 3:00 pm ET start time. Meanwhile, Forbidden Door’s start time is listed as 7:00 pm ET. After the events were announced, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that neither WWE nor TNA knew that AEW would schedule Forbidden Door on the same day as Slammiversary 2026. WWE recently held an event in San Jose as well.

TNA Slammiversary 2026 is being held at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door is being held at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. Both shows will air live on pay-per-view.
