Tony Khan Comes Up With ‘Bill Watts Explanation’ for Hangman Page Attending MJF & Alicia Atout’s Wedding

AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Alicia Atout got married this week, and it was a fine affair. However, a photo surfaced from the ceremony showing that AEW World Champion Hangman Page, Jeff Jarrett, Daniel Garcia, and AEW boss Tony Khan were all at the wedding. This led to comments on Hangman “breaking kayfabe” by attending the wedding of his bitter enemy MJF. However, Tony Khan has come up with his own “kayfabe” justification of why Hangman Page attended the wedding of MJF and Atout.

This led to Trevor Dame jokingly commenting, “Bill Watts about to fine Max and Page for exposing the business.” However, Tony Khan came up with his own “Bill Watts explanation” of why Hangman Page would be willing to attend the wedding of one of his greatest on-air rivals.

Tony Khan wrote via his social media about Hangman Page attending MJF and Atout’s wedding, “Alicia is a great person, and the fan favorites came to support her on her big night. Now that’s a Bill Watts explanation. #AEWCollision tonight
