Tony Khan Gives Hiroshi Tanahashi Custom Guitar Before AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Tony Khan gifted Hiroshi Tanahashi a customized guitar ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday evening. The AEW Twitter account posted a video at the start of the show with Khan and Tanahashi, the presidents of AEW and NJPW, respectively.

Khan gave Tanahashi the custom guitar in the video to commemorate the latter’s career. It was revealed that the guitar had the following inscribed on the front:

“Go Ace!

Congratulations on your incredible career.

From your friends at All Elite Wrestling.”

You can see the video below. Hiroshi Tanahashi appeared on the PPV, coming out when Jon Moxley confronted Shota Umino following the latter’s win over PAC to defend his IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship. Tanahashi’s presence caused Moxley to back off, and Tanahashi commiserated with Umino.
