It was a scary night for the up-and-coming son of Sting at AEW All Out. During a tag match with Darby Allin against Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher, Borden appeared to get knocked out by a mid-air collision with Knight. The match was awarded to Knight and Fletcher when Borden couldn’t answer the count, in what looked to be an unplanned finish. It was a spot that led armchair quarterback Eric Bischoff to claim that Borden wasn’t ready to be on TV yet in such a high-risk match.

Knight visited Borden in hospital that night, and said he was doing okay; it had just been a scary bump. Now comes an update via Tony Khan that sounds like good news.

Via Wrestling Inc, Khan, who previously reported that the results of a CT scan were good, said on yesterday’s WrestleDream media call that, “Thankfully Steven Borden is going to be okay, and he’s someone we really like, and I think he’s doing fantastic.” He is not scheduled to appear at WrestleDream, though he was spotted backstage at Dynamite.

Borden’s partner Allin, however, will compete at WrestleDream in the Clockwork Carnage match against Adam Copeland, Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, and Ricochet.
