Tony Khan Gives Update On Rights To Jack Harlow Song For Blake Christian

Tony Khan has been on a quest to get the rights to a Jack Harlow song for Blake Christian, and he says he’s 1% of the way there. As reported, Christian has been hoping to get his Jack Harlow “Lovin On Me” theme in AEW since July. Christian said at the time that Khan was working on it. Apparently it’s slow going (kind of), as Khan gave an update on the ROH Final Battle media call.
“I’m still trying,” Khan said (per Fightful). “I can’t confirm that I’ll get it. The last time I addressed this, I had gotten 1% approval. I was like, ‘How does somebody have 1% rights to a song?’ Somebody with 1% gave their consent. I just need to get the other 99% and I’ll be there. If I can get the other 99% by tomorrow then I would love to play it.”
Khan continued, “I would certainly give Mr. Harlow some cash for that. I should have bothered him about this when I’ve had the opportunity at times through football and different events where I’ve run into him, but I usually don’t like bothering people. Maybe, for Blake Christian, for you, and Jeremy, and the great Fightful people, maybe I should have twisted his arm and tried to get that other 99%. I’m still working on it.”
Christian is part of the Survival of the Fittest match at Final Battle for the ROH World Championship. He’ll battle Bandido, Sammy Guevara, Hechicero, The Beast Mortos, and Komander for the title.
