Tony Schiavone Previews Tonight’s AEW Dynamite, What He’s Looking Forward To

Tony Schiavone is excited for tonight’s AEW Dynamite, and he gave a bit of a preview of what to expect from the show. Tonight’s episode takes place at the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virgina, and Schiavone appeared on Coast Live to promote the show. You can see a couple of highlights below:

On Tonight’s Episode:

“We have the World Champion, Will Ospreay is going to be with us. Jon Moxley, who is our Continental Champion, he will be here. Chris Jericho, one of the legendary performers. I’ve known Chris Jericho since ’97 when we were kind of — and this is back when we were on TNT, Chris Jericho and I worked together. And he’s back, and so we’re going to have probably most of the top that you see each and every week will be here.”

On What He’s Looking Forward To Tonight:

“Okay, I’m going to be watching for — Chris Jericho has done a lot of things, and I mentioned him before. And he’s now going up against one of the real young stars in AEW who won his first championship at age 19, and that’s Nick Wayne. And I’m kind of surprised, if their match tomorrow is going to lead to a feud, or lead to maybe Chris Jericho being his mentor. So I think there’s some intrigue into that.

“And I’m interested to see the dynamic between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay, because they have had quite a history between the two. Jon was kind of like his mentor, or kind of like trained him to be World Champion. And now he’s gonna face against Jon Moxley. So that should be exciting.”
