Trick Williams vs. Laredo Kid Announced for Countdown to Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE United States Champion Trick Williams is set for action tonight at the Madison Square Garden. Just announced by WWE, Trick Williams will face AAA star Laredo Kid during the Countdown to Saturday Night’s Main Event pre-show.

The Countdown show will kick off at 7:30 ET/4:30 PT and stream on WWE’s YouTube channel. Based on the announcement, it appears the bout will be a non-title match.

Tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is being held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The main card will stream live on Peacock. Here’s the newly updated lineup:

* CM Punk & Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn & Gunther.
If Zayn and Gunther win, they get in the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam.
* WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Brie Bella & Paige vs. Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid.
* No Disqualification Match: Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh
* Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
* Roman Reigns & Jalen Brunson appear.
