Triple H Praises Undertaker and Shawn Michaels in Their Business Roles

Wrestling fans of the ’90s might never have imagined that the Heartbreak Kid and the Undertaker would one day be reporting to corporate offices in executive roles, yet here we are. In NXT, Shawn Michaels is Senior Vice President of Talent Development, Creative, while in AAA, Mark Calaway is Head of Creative.

In a recent WWE Vlog, transcribed by f4wonline, Triple H, himself a former ring villain turned corporate suit, describes why he gets emotional looking at where they all are now.

“Seeing the guys that are my generation, my contemporaries, my friends, be able to step into these roles, be able to continue as our bodies won’t allow us to do it anymore, and continue to be able to take all the knowledge that they have in their minds and be able to give it back to this next generation. To me, that’s what this business is all about,” he said.

Praising both men for taking their parts of the company to another level, he added, “It’s incredible, and it’s emotional for me to see that, to be a part of it, and to do it with those guys. Nothing makes me happier.”
