Update On Bronson Reed After WWE Raw Injury, Original Plan For Match

WWE gave an update on Bronson Reed following his injury on WWE Raw, and a new report has details on the original plan for tonight’s match. As noted The Vision member suffered an apparent injury during the bout when he went to go break up a pinfall. Reed grabbed his arm and rolled out of the ring, and didn’t return to the bout.

It was announced by Michael Cole later in the show that Reed had suffered a distal biceps tear and will be out indefinitely.

According to several reports, Reed was supposed to pick up the win in the match. PWInsider, WrestleVotes, and F4W Online all report that Reed was originally set to win and move onto the men’s Chamber match. Instead, Jey Uso pinned El Grande Americano (original version) to earn a spot in the Chamber bout. He will face Randy Orton, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams in the match at Saturday’s PLE. The winner will challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.

As noted, there’s no word on how Reed may be out of action. He joins fellow Vision member Bron Breakker on the shelf.
