Update on Bryan Danielson Following Match at AEW Dynasty

Bryan Danielson had a match with Will Ospreay at Bryan Danielson, and took a Storm Driver ’93 at the end of the match. While Danielson landed on his back, he sold it as though he had a neck injury or a stinger. This later played into AEW storylines, where Ospreay claimed he would be retiring the move.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Danielson is using the storyline injury to to take some time off as he has been “going at it so hard” that he needs a break. However, the move was done safely so he does not have a neck injury. That is part of the storyline.
