Update on Dralistico Following Cryptic Social Media Post

A new report has clarification on Dralistico and his status with AEW after his eyebrow-raising social media post earlier this week. As noted, the AEW star posted a mockup photo of himself behind bars with chains on, captioning it “Maybe not for long?”

While he didn’t explain the message further, many speculated that he was seeking to leave AEW as it has been reported his contract is up soon and he hasn’t competed for AEW or ROH since June. However, Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio thart this is not the case.

Meltzer said that while AEW believes that WWE is going to make Dralistico an offer, people close to the luchador have said that the photo is in relaiton to a visa issue. He noted that it’s “not because he can’t wait to leave” such as when Rey Fenix posted a similar image when he was waiting for his AEW contract to end.

As noted, Dralistico’s brother RUSH is also away from AEW TV but intimated in a new social media post that he should be back in action in 2027.
