Update On Nick Wayne’s Foot Injury, Expected To Be Out ‘A While’

Nick Wayne is missing AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door due to a broken foot, and a new report has some details on the matter. As noted, Wayne announced on this week’s Dynamite that he would not be making it to Forbidden Door due to a broken foot and announced Killswitch as taking his place. It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the injury is legitimate.

The report notes that Wayne is “going to be out for a while,” though it is not clear exactly how long. It was also not noted exactly when the injury went down. Bryan Alvarez noted that he shot the promo that payed on Dynamite from at his house.

Wayne is the current ROH World Television Champion. While he has not yet been confirmed as such, the report suggests that Wayne will not be able to compete at ROH Death Before Dishonor on August 29th.
