Update on Injury to Chelsea Green

As we saw last week on WWE SmackDown, Chelsea Green suffered an injury to her right ankle. She was pulled from Saturday’s AAA taping, leaving Ethan Page to lose the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship to Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana. As much as we love La Hiedra, she just isn’t the President of our hearts that Chelsea is. Page & Green had held the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship for 97 days, though one figures their loss will continue to be disputed.

PWInsider’s Mark Johnson confirmed the injury this morning. WWE believes that Chelsea Green suffered a very bad bruise, but did not break her foot or ankle. Hopefully this bodes well for her return, but there’s no word on when she’ll be able to return.

If Chelsea Green is stuck out of action for a long period of time, here’s hoping she’ll still be able to entertain the audience through her ability on the microphone and to enhance angles.
