– SI.com has a new report on the previously announced ESPN 30 For 30 documentary on WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. The documentary is still in the works, and it will reportedly have the title of “Nature Boy,” and it will likely have a spring or summer 2017 release.
The documentary is also expected to run about 90 minutes with commercials. The film is directed by Rory Karpf, and it will feature never-before-seen photos and videos of Flair before his days where he became the legendary wrestler nicknamed the Nature Boy.
Karpf recently revealed this week that he’s still in the process of interviewing subjects for the documentary. Some of the interviews filmed for the documentary include his living children, Sting Triple H, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Ricky Steamboat, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Ole Anderson, Jim Ross, Erich Bischoff, and Flair’s first wife, Leslie. Karp and his production company have so far interviewed a total of 43 subjects.
The official release date for the ESPN documentary will be revealed later on.
