Update On Ricky Sosa’s European Indie Status After Signing With TNA

Ricky Sosa is officially signed to TNA, and a new report has an update on his status on the European indie scene going forward. As noted, it was announced at TNA Sacrifice that Sosa has signed with the company. Sosa made his debut for the company on the March 13th episode of TNA Impact with a win over Brad Attitude.

According to Fightful Select, Sosa is expected to stay active overseas. Sosa worked with wXw and KHAO, and the reaction to his signing was described as “universally positive.” People in wXw still expect him to be part of the roster for events that do not clash with TNA tapings. Sosa is expected to appear at KHAO’s May 2nd event, but appearances afterward are more unclear.

KHAO’s general manager Cesar posted to Twitter on Saturday to write that complain about talents leaving “at the slightest opportunity,” which some sites reported on as a legitimate issue. Fightful Select notes that it was stressed to them that it was a kayfabe tweet and no one there “has a bad word” to say about Sosa.
