Fans will likely recall WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin crashing his ATV into the security wall back at WrestleMania 41 earlier in April, and the crash knocked a fan sitting in the front row over. WWE President Nick Khan was later seen checking on the fan after the accident. During the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, it was asked if any legal action ever came out of the incident.
Speaking on the latest Fightful Weekly Q&A Podcast, Sean Ross Sapp said that the night the incident happened, he was told by someone in WWE, “You probably won’t hear anything else about this.” Sapp added that when he asked why, he was told, “The person was front row at WrestleMania. They’re already a fan, and already spent a ton of money to be there. WWE will almost certainly offer them something to make good on it, and in order for that to happen, the person will definitely be required to sign a non-disclosure, and it will prevent further legal action.”
Although no additional information ever came out of the story, Sapp noted that the lack of news likely indicates that the fan was taken care of by WWE after the accident took place.
