A new report has an update on the TNA contract status of Mustafa Ali as the year approaches its end. Fightful Select reports that the former TNA International Champion is coming to the end of his contract period, which runs to the end of 2026.
It was noted that TNA is expected to try and keep Ali on board, and will likely make an offer to re-sign him. Ali is highly respected within the company, according to sources that the site spoke with.
Mustafa Ali made his TNA debut in January of 2024, a little over three months after he was released from his WWE contract. He exited TNA in August of 2024 but returned in January of 2025. During his TNA runs he has been a TNA X Division Champion and a two-time TNA International Champion. Ali was the leader of Order 4 and feuded with Jason Hotch when he split from the group. That feud propelled Hotch to become the current TNA International Champion. Ali has also said that he has scouted talent for TNA on an informal basis and recommended names from independent dates he’s worked to the management in TNA.
There’s no word on the exact date Ali’s deal is up, only “the end of 2026.”
