For fans of AEW programming, Warner Bros. Discovery announced today (Oct. 21) price increases for its HBO Max streaming service that are now active, effective immediately. The new price increases and plans for HBO Max are listed on the streamer’s Help Center.
Under the new pricing, HBO Max Basic with Ads costs $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year. The standard plan fee is $18.49 a month or $184.99 a year. HBO Max premium costs $22.99 a month or $229.99 a year. The increases on the plans don’t include applicable taxes.
The new prices are effective immediately for new subscriptions. Existing monthly subscribers for the streamer will be notified 30 days before their plan renewing and see the fee increases starting from their next billing date on or after November 20. Current yearly subscribers will not see the increases until their accounts are up for renewal, and they’ll be notified 30 days in advance of their plan renewing (h/t Variety).
AEW’s main weekly two-programs, Dynamite and Collision, are currently simulcast on HBO Max every week. Also, HBO Max began livestreaming AEW pay-per-view events last month with All Out Toronto, for a price of $39.99 in the United States.
An AEW pay-per-view generally costs $49.99 outside of HBO Max. They can also be purchased on Prime Video, TrillerTV, and PPV.com.
