Roman Reigns has been pulled from WWE Raw episodes for the month of June, and a new report has details on why it’s been done. As noted, it was reported last night that Reigns is no longer scheduled for the June 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd episodes of the Monday night show. Reigns has been a regular on Raw for the past few weeks after winning the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42.
According to F4W Online, sources indicated that Reigns has been pulled because he is not scheduled to compete at WWE Night of Champions. As such, there was no reason to have him on the TV episodes building to the show.
Reigns noted after his WrestleMania 42 win that he will be full-time “all summer.” It’s not yet been revealed why he won’t be used for Night of Champions, which takes place on June 27th at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at WWE Backlash this coming Saturday, which will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and Netflix internationally, with WWE Clash in Italy scheduled for May 31st between Backlash and Night of Champions.
411 will of course have live coverage of both WWE Backlash and WWE Night of Champions.
