Will Ospreay went to war with Jon Moxley at AEW All Out 2026, but the British wrestler was able to come out of it as still the AEW World Champion.

Ospreay set the tone for the main event when he set The Death Rider’s flag on fire ahead of his entrance.

Ospreay was busted open quite early in the match. Moxley showcased his vicious side as he drove the champ into the steel steps and licked his blood. Moxley targeted Ospreay’s neck throughout the match, including hitting a Piledriver.

The Aerial Assassin eventually made his way back into the match, nailing the Styles Clash and an OsCutter for a near fall. He set up for a Hidden Blade, but Marina Shafir grabbed his leg. Things spiraled into chaos when The Death Riders interfered. This led to the United Empire coming out to even the odds. Amid all this, the referee was knocked out. Ospreay nailed the Hidden Blade, but there was no referee to count the pinfall.

Later, PAC showed up with a briefcase, only to be taken down by AEW National Champion Andrade. However, Marina managed to hit Will with the briefcase, but the champ managed to kick out. After Shafir took down the referee, The Brawling Birds came out to attack the Death Rider. Moxley Stomped Ospreay on the briefcase and then took Will’s head off with it after initially hesitating. After yet another near fall, the AEW Continental Champion hit multiple Paradigm Shifts on Ospreay, but the latter refused to get pinned.

A frustrated Moxley went for a submission move. However, Ospreay escaped by biting the challenger. He followed it up with a Hidden Blade and a Storm Breaker for another near fall. The end finally came when Ospreay hit another Hidden Blade for the pinfall.

After the match, Jon Moxley gave Will Ospreay his flowers, as he put the AEW World Championship belt on the champ’s shoulder and shook his hand. This was Ospreay’s maiden title defense. He captured the title from Kenny Omega at All In: London last month.
