Will Ospreay Retains World Title Against Kazuchika Okada At AEW Grand Slam France

Will Ospreay walked away from AEW Grand Slam France with his World Title reign intact, defeating Kazuchika Okada in the main event. The headlining bout of Tuesday’s episode featured Ospreay defending his title against the AEW International Champion in war that lasted nearly 19 minutes.

The two battles hard back and forth and Ospreay proved his resilience, including kicking out of a Rainmaker at one late in the match. He ultimately picked up the win after hitting his second Hidden Blade of the match to retain his title.

You can see clips from the AEW Grand Slam France match and post-match segment below. Ospreay is now official for the Clockwork Carnage match for AEW WrestleDream, which Samoa Joe is also qualified for so far.
