Willow Nightingale Weighs In On Critics of Blood In Women’s Matches
Willow Nightingale competed in a bloody street fight on AEW Rampage last month, and she recently weighed in criticism of blood in women’s matches. Nightingale, who teamed with Ruby Soho against Anna Jay and Tay Melo on the January 13th episode of Rampage, appeared on Vickie Guerrero’s podcast and addressed the topic during the conversation.
“The whole blood thing, some people were like, ‘you don’t need it,’ and yeah, it’s not one-hundred percent [necessary],” Nightingale said (per Wrestling Inc), “it’s a choice… At this point in the storyline, in this kind of match that we were put in, this is the way that we wanted to paint our canvas, this is the way we wanted to tell our story and create our art. These were our choices and we’re all happy with them.”
Nightingale last competed on the January 18th episode of Dynamite, losing to Toni Storm in singles competition.
