WWE 2K26 Attitude Era Edition Announced, Cover & Trailer Revealed

WWE 2K26 will have a special Attitude Era edition, as announced on on Friday night with pre-orders starting soon. WWE and 2K Games unveiled the special version of this year’s WWE 2K iteration, with the cover for the game revealed along with the trailer. The Attitude Era edition cover features Steve Austin, Kane, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Trish Stratus, Lita, Stephanie McMahon, the Dudley Boyz, and Chyna.
You can also see the trailer below for the edition. The trailer features footage from the vaunted Attitude Era but no in-game footage. Pre-orders for the edition are set to start on January 30th.
It was reported by Athlon Sports on Thursday that the new yearly version of the WWE 2K franchise is expected to release in early March. That date has yet to be officially confirmed, and the trailer does not note a release date. It was previously given a Q4 release date which for 2K Games would be by the end of March.
WWE 2K25 released on March 14th, 2025 and was available on Playstation, Xbox One, XBox Series X/S, and PC, with the Nintendo Switch coming in October. It’s expected that WWE 2K26 will be available for a similar swath of systems.
