Backstage News On WWE Reaction To Evolution, Future Plans for Trish Stratus & Nikki Bella

WWE Evolution 2025 is a wrap and the show was, by all accounts, a big hit with fans, particularly the main event that saw Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky deliver a classic, only to have Naomi cash in her Money in the Bank contract and win the match. Also on the show, Stephanie Vaquer won the Battle Royal, earning a title shot at the Clash in Paris. Fightful Select reports that the show was a hit with WWE executives backstage as well, as they were pleased with it, viewed it as a success, and feel as though there will be another Evolution in the future.

Fightful adds that WWE would like to use Trish Stratus and Nikki Bella again in the future. Both WWE legends worked the Evolution show last night. Trish, in particular, is expected to be back in the ring later this year.

Trish earned a standing ovation after her loss to Tiffany Stratton on Evolution, while Bella took part in the Battle Royal. Bella was originally set to face Liv Morgan at Evolution, according to various reports, but Morgan’s injury changed plans.
