WWE has set their eyes on another independent talent in Conan Lycan, according to a new report. Fightful Select reports that according to sources familiar with the matter, WWE has shown interest in Lycan, who appeared on the second season of MrBeast’s Prime Video series Beast Games.
Lycan is an eight-year veteran of the independent scene and trained at The Black And Brave Academy run by Seth Rollins and Marek Brave. He is a regular for Chicago Style Wrestling in (wait for it) Chicago, Illinois, where he is the current and three-time CSW Heavyweight Champion. Fightful notes that he is listed at 6’3″ and 270 pounds and has seen his social media reach take off after his Beast Games appearance.
The report notes that there is no word on whether an offer has been made to Lycan. However, it is specified that there were discussions of a meeting that took place between Lycan and NXT higher ups in recent weeks.
In addition to CSW, Lycan has worked regularly for Limitless Wrestling. He made two appearances on AEW TV back in 2022, appearing on an episode each of AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation. He also worked three shows for GCW (one a JCW event) back in 2021.
