Backstage Update on WWE’s Latest Trademark Filing

An update on WWE’s most recent trademark filing. As noted, WWE filed an application with the USPTO on Friday, August 28, to trademark “946.” According to False Finish, the trademark is in reference to the alliance of Royce Keys and OTM.

Royce Keys returned to WWE RAW this past Monday night with a new attitude and new allies in the form of Lucien Price and Bronco Nima (OTM). The trio unleashed a brutal attack on both The Usos and Keys’ former allies, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight, and stood tall amid the ruins as the show went off the air.

Keys had been absent from WWE TV since being brutally destroyed by Jacob Fatu during and after the Street Fight match on RAW earlier this month. Meanwhile, Bronco Nima was booted out of Los Perros del Mal following his defeat to Penta last Saturday night on the Lucha Libre AAA show.
