Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select shared a number of new WWE and wrestling-related news bits. As previously reported, the unplanned title change with Thea Hail beating Blake Monroe for the NXT Women’s North American Title last week came at the “worst possible time” with NXT wrapping filming on much of its remaining content for the rest of 2025.

It was also rumored that NXT staffers were in a “pretty frantic rush” to correct elements that were filmed that no longer made sense due to Thea Hail winning the title, including an error on the WWE website stating that Monroe had won.

WrestleVotes Radio noted how that fans were asking about the practical nature of WWE filming at the Performance Center in light of last week’s changes. However, the WWE PC is actually shut down for the holidays.

– WrestleVotes Radio also reports that WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes has fulfilled more wishes for Make-A-Wish than any WWE Superstar in 2025.

– WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler recently made waves with some of his recent comments during an interview with Action News 5, where the 76-year-old mentioned wanting to have another match. He said during the interview, “I have not put it out of my mind. We have one more match in there somewhere.”

WrestleVotes Radio reports that a WWE source who has worked with Lawler for years in the company said there is a “zero percent chance WWE clears him” for an in-ring return. So fans likely shouldn’t ever expect Lawler to wrestle a final match in WWE.

If Lawler does return to the ring for a final match after his recent stroke, it will likely happen elsewhere.
