WWE News: Reason Why KUSHIDA Left NJPW For WWE, WWE’s Weekend Schedule, More Plots For Upcoming Total Bellas Episodes

– The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via Wrestling Inc) reports that the reason that KUSHIDA left NJPW was due to creative differences with NJPW officials. KUSHIDA reportedly wanted to turn heel and join the Bullet Club, but Gedo turned him down as he felt NJPW needed a babyface junior heavyweight. KUSHIDA’s last match will be against Hiroshi Tanahashi on January 29. He is then expected to go to WWE and be part of the NXT brand.

– WWE is set to hit several different locations this weekend with three of their four brands. RAW will have a live event in San Antonio, Texas at the AT&T Center with Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose, Baron Corbin, Sasha Banks, Ronda Rousey and Bobby Lashley advertised. They will then head to Abilene, Texas tomorrow at the Taylor County Coliseum and Wichita Falls, Kansas at the Kay Yeager Coliseum on Sunday. This Monday’s episode of RAW will air live from Oklahoma City.

Smackdown will have a show tomorrow in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the Denny Sanford Premier Center with WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles and Smackdown Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch advertised. They then head to Omaha, Nebraska on Sunday (CHI Health Center) and Topeka, Kansas at the Landon Arena on Monday. Smackdown Live and 205 Live air live from Wichita, Kansas at the Instrust Bank Arena on Tuesday.

Finally, NXT has a live event in Tampa, Florida at The University Area CDC Gym tonight and in Citrus Springs, Florida tomorrow.
