WWE News: Royal Rumble Misses Social Media Rankings, WrestleMania Countdown Promo, Roadblock DVD Retails

– The Royal Rumble did not place among Nielsen Media’s social media television rankings for Sunday night. Sunday’s list was topped by the SAG Awards. WWE Roadblock ranked #1 for the night in December when it took place with 106,000 users and 305,000 total interactions. The #5 ranking among series and specials was Homeland with 13,000 users and 16,000 total interactions, so unless it was left off for some other reason the Royal Rumble would have ranked below that.

– Speaking of Roadblock, Wrestling DVD Network has details on the DVD release of the event tomorrow. All first-run copies of the DVD include a Charlotte Flair trading card. There are no plans for a Blu-Ray release in any region at this time. The sole extra on the DVD is the Kickoff match between Big Cass and Rusev.
