He spoke about a poor interview that Mooney had with Donald Trump at Wrestlemania IV. He said Okerlund met with him backstage and said, “That interview was the s–ts. I don’t know if Donald is going to let you back in your room.”

He said that Gene’s comments helped break the tension for him after the interview went bad. He said that we shouldn’t “be sad that we lost Gene Okerlund. Smile because we had him.”
