WWE News: Trish Stratus and Sasha Banks Both Lost Family Members Last Week, More WWF Superstars Added To WWE Network, Top 10 WALTER NXT UK Matches

– PWInsider reports that Sasha Banks’ father passed away over the weekend.

Trish Stratus also suffered a loss, she announced her father-in-law passed away.

She wrote: “We lost the patriarch of our family. The grandfather to our children. The father to my husband. A man of few but wise and well chosen words, my father in law Frank was one of the most intelligent men I knew. And when I say intelligent, I mean the harder to come by street smarts that could dissect a situation, break down a problem, and find a resolution in a practical, common sense way – a pragmatic thinker in every way. It was this thinking that made this self-made man’s rise such a successful one. Frank become the captain of his own destiny as a young man, a butcher who overcome social and financial obstacles by making little small moves that became large prominent moves. He embodied the hope of accomplishing success, the American dream so to speak (Canadian dream in this case) despite of one’s race, religion and family history.

A loving father and grandfather I find solace knowing we will always be able to see him when we look at our children (they got his light eyes). And I know he will live on in my husband who is cut from the same cloth from the hard headed nature (Calabrese!) to the way he thinks and the way he loves. And the biggest trait they both shared was their abundant love for their family.”
