UPDATE: A new report has some updates on Masha Slamovich’s status with TNA and their storylines after the allegations of domestic abuse laid against her. Fightful Select clarified that, while WWE sources said that any plans of her being used in the TNA invasion angle have been paused, Slamovich was not planned for the brawl angle on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. Slamovich is not currently in the US and is in Spain.
It was also noted that Slamovich’s contract with TNA is up soon and that it was still a question of whether she would stay with the company. The report notes that she was scheduled to lose to Ash By Elegance in their planned Knockouts Championship match at Victory Road, which as noted appears to have been pulled from the show.
ORIGINAL: As previously reported, TNA Wrestling pulled Masha Slamovich from her scheduled Knockouts World Title match against Ash by Elegance at TNA Victory Road scheduled for later this week. Also, TNA announced an investigation into the recent domestic abuse claims made against Slamovich. Slamovich also did not take part in last night’s TNA invasion of WWE NXT, but Knockouts World Champion Ash by Elegance was present during the show-closing brawl.
According to an update from Fightful Select, WWE paused any plans for Masha Slamovich in the TNA invasion. Slamovich has been featured on WWE NXT programming before and also been featured as part of the TNA and NXT crossover partnership. During the July 15 edition of NXT TV, she teamed up with Sol Ruca and Zaria in a winning effort against Fatal Influence.
Masha Slamovich has not commented publicly on the matter.
