WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Moving to Peacock, Will Include John Cena’s Last Match

WWE is staying in business with Peacock as Saturday Night’s Main Event is moving to the service, including John Cena’s last match. As noted earlier today, it was announced that WWE’s main roster PLEs are moving off Peacock to the new ESPN app next month as opposed to the originally-planned April 2026. WWE and Peacock announced late on Wednesday that they’ve signed a new multi-year deal with the Saturday Night’s Main Event series set to exclusively stream there.

The new deal sees the quarterly event stream in primetime four times a year and will start with two this year, the first on November 1st and the second on December 13th. The December 13th event will feature John Cena’s retirement match.

The announcement has a lot of notes on WWE’s content, specifying that WWE Network library will remain available on Peacock through the end of 2025 and that NXT PLEs will be available on Peacock until March 2026. It notably does not say where all of that will go after those points.

It was also noted that the SmackDown library will remain on Peacock on a 30-day delay, with USA Network continuing as the live exclusive home of SmackDown.

“Peacock has had a wonderful relationship with the WWE and we’re excited to see it continue far into the future,” said Rick Cordella, President, NBC Sports. “Saturday Night’s Main Event is some of the most premium content the WWE produces, including John Cena’s upcoming retirement match, and it will be all live and exclusive on Peacock.”
