WWE and SiriusXM have announced the launch of WWE Radio, a new channel dedicated to WWE programming that officially goes live on Monday, July 27. The channel will air on SiriusXM channel 156, replacing Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7.
The new service will give fans one destination for WWE audio content, including live Premium Live Event coverage, select WWE television audio simulcasts, daily talk shows, and official WWE podcasts. WWE Radio will be available through SiriusXM radios and the SiriusXM app. The channel will carry live audio broadcasts of WWE’s major Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and Survivor Series.
The launch comes just before SummerSlam weekend. SiriusXM will begin its first live on-site WWE coverage from Minneapolis on August 1 and 2. Vic Joseph and Booker T will provide live audio commentary for SummerSlam on August 1 and 2. WWE also confirmed that select television programs will receive audio simulcasts on the channel.
“We’re excited to bring the WWE Universe closer to all of the in-ring action at WWE’s biggest events on SiriusXM, beginning with wall-to-wall coverage of SummerSlam in Minnesota,” says WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
The daily schedule will be led by Busted Open Radio, hosted by Dave LaGreca alongside Bully Ray, Mark Henry, and Nic Nemeth, airing every day from 9 a.m. to noon ET. The lineup also includes Notsam Wrestling Live with Sam Roberts, Cheap Heat Live with Peter Rosenberg, The Hart Beat with Natalya, and Off the Ropes, featuring Raj Dhesi, Mark Henry, and Tommy Dreamer. Fans will also continue to hear Busted Open After Dark, which airs five nights a week and features post-show reactions and fan calls following wrestling events.
“We are thrilled to team up with WWE to launch the most comprehensive wrestling audio platform in the industry,” says Jared Fox, SVP, Sports Programming, Content Marketing & Partnerships for SiriusXM. “By bringing together SiriusXM’s live pro wrestling programming with WWE’s world-class events, we are delivering an unmatched, 24/7 home for the WWE Universe, giving fans a way to tune in to every match and stay connected with every storyline, from anywhere they want to listen.”
In addition, WWE Radio will stream WWE and Fanatics podcast content, including podcasts hosted by Cody Rhodes, Stephanie McMahon, and The Undertaker, and WWE Now: RAW Recap hosted by Sam Roberts and Megan Morant.
“The WWE Universe is always looking for new ways to engage with WWE, and our partnership with SiriusXM will deliver exclusive access, original programming and live event coverage that brings fans closer to the action wherever they are,” says Alex Varga, Executive Vice President, WWE.
During SummerSlam week, several SiriusXM personalities will broadcast live from the Minneapolis Convention Center. Dave LaGreca, Bully Ray, Mark Henry, Tommy Dreamer, Sam Roberts, and Peter Rosenberg will preview matches, interview WWE Superstars and personalities, and interact with fans from the Minneapolis Convention Center.
