Full WWE Smackdown Spoilers From Bologna, Italy

WWE Smackdown takes place in Bologna, Italy today. The broadcast airs live on Netflix for international viewers, with the usual U.S. broadcast on USA Network tonight at 8PM ET. The full results are below:

*The opening segment features Gunther, who is enraged, and tearing the set apart. Cody promised him a rematch, but that wasn’t enough, clearly. Anyway, here comes Cody to interrupt. Rhodes reaffirms he’ll give Gunther a rematch, but now Sami Zayn is interrupting.

Zayn says Cody is always blowing him off. Gunther shoves Cody into Sami and puts him in a sleeper. Sami runs in to attack Gunther and Gunther knocks him out of the ring. Rhodes knocks Gunther down, and Sami pulls Gunther out of the ring. Cody does a suicide dive aiming at Gunther, but Gunther pushes Sami to take the brunt of it. Gunther exits, laughing. Cody offers a hand up to Sami but Sami refuses it and leaves.

* Backstage segment: Miz is Facetiming Kit Wilson. Wilson is complaining about the TSA when Miz notices a large wire that he follows into the lab of Danhausen, who is wearing a bathrobe. Danhausen asks Miz not to touch his stuff, so Miz touches everything and gets an electric shock.

* In another backstage segment, Gunther finds Nick Aldis and starts yelling at him about disrespect. Aldis says he’s given Gunther the same amount of respect he gets from him.

* Raquel Rodriguez wins a Queen of the Ring match over Bayley, Jacy Jayne, and Kiana James. She scored the pin on Kiana James with a Tejana Bomb after Jayne hit a Rolling Encore to Bayley but walked into a big boot by Rodriguez, who then hit her finisher on James. Just before, Jacy Jayne moved Kiana James’ foot off the ropes and Kiana thought it was Giulia, so it seems their alliance may be over.

*Sami Zayn backstage vents to Johnny Gargano about the opening segment. Nick Aldis tells Zayn to stay out of Cody and Gunther’s business, because he has other business to attend to…with Chad Gable.

* Talla Tonga def. Royce Keys. The finish came when Tama tonga tripped Keys while Solo Sikoa was distracted the ref. Keys went after Tama and decked him, but Talla grabbed him for a chokeslam to get the pin. Tama and Talla Tonga attacked Keys after the match. R-Truth went for the save but Damian Priest stopped him and they argued about making the save as the MFTs beat down Keys.

* The Judgment Day congratulated Rodriguez on her win and talked about Mysterio’s match tonight. Morgan said she and Dominick would be a cute Queen & King couple and Rodriguez was less than happy about that, but Morgan reassured her that her winning would be great too.

* A vignette aired hyping Finn Balor’s return to the WWE Smackdown brand after he was traded on Raw. Balor will return with the King of the Ring first round match next week against LA Knight, Jey Uso, and Royce Keys.

* Damian Priest and R-Truth were in the back and Priest didn’t understand why Truth was helping Keys, noting he doesn’t know Keys so why would he want to help. He said he wants to focus on Kng of the Ring and SummerSlam. Truth said his brother is a doctor (of Thuganomics) and Priest said Truth doesn’t have a brother, which angered Truth. Priest left and the War Raiders walked up to Truth, suggesting they give the Radiers (now AAA Tag Team Champions) a title shot. Truth said he’s never met them and walked off.

* The Queen of the Ring match between Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair, and Jade Cargill was announced for next week.

* Rhea Ripley game down to the ring for a promo and said she put Jade Cargill behind her before Charlotte Flair came down. Flair talkd about helping Ripley at WWE Clash in Italy and noted that she’s in the Queen of the Ring tournament and as much fun as she’s had fighting alongside of Ripley, she will win the tournament and take her title back. Tiffany Stratton then came down and talked about how Ripley and Flair haven’t been fighting lately, and she while she likes having the Women’s US Title she wants Ripley’s title.

Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin came down and Nick Aldis stopped a fight from happening. He said Ripley is not in a condition to compete but a match was set with Flair and Stratton against Cargill and Michin.

* Jade Cargill & Michin def. Charlotte Flair & Tiffany Stratton. The finish saw Michin pull Flair off the apron and B-Fab took her out with a bicycle kick. Stratton countered Jaded into a victory roll for a nearfall and went up top, but Cargill recovered, pushed Stratton down onto the turnbuckle and then hit Jaded for the pinfall.

* Fatal Influence are in the back were interviewed by Cathy Kelly backstage. Jacy Jayne was pissed about her loss and said she is better than everyone else before noticing Brie Bella and Paige doing a photo shoot. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions mocked Jayne’s loss and Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid attacked. Bella and Paige fought back but fell to the numbers game.

* R-Truth had a segment with Royce Keys, and Keys said he appreciated Truth having his back. Truth said that Keys will love Priest once he gets to know him, and together they can deal with the MFTs. Keys said he didn’t care about Priest and vice versa, but noted Truth and him are good.

* Ricky Saints def. Carmelo Hayes. The finish of the match saw the two battle on the outside and Saints hit a throat punch. They both made it back to into the ring and Hayes caught Saints with a roll-up for two, making a bit of a comeback before Saints rolled through a pin attempt and got his own roll-up with a handful of tights.

* Trick Williams was interviewed about tonight’s King of the Ring tournament match and said he’s only concerned about himself, not Hayes or Saints coming after his title. He vowed to win and go on to win King of the Ring, then head to SummerSlam. Bron Breakker walked up for a stare-off before leaving.

* Chelsea Green walked up to Tiffany Stratton and asked why she didn’t tell her about her plans as she would have provided backup. Stratton said she didn’t think she needed Green and Green disagreed. Green said she needed Stratton out there for her match, and Stratton said she had to go to the trainer’s room and left.

* A Blake Monroe vignette aired and she talked about Tiffany Stratton, saying that Stratton’s rise to the top was impressive and that it’s like looking in a mirror. She teased a match between the two of them.

* Lash Legend def. Chelsea Green. Legend countered an Unprettier into the Lash Extension for the win.

* Solo Sikoa walked up to Royce Keys in the back and Keys told Sikoa to be careful. Sikoa pointed out what happened to Jacob Fatu on Monday and said Keys has no one to watch his back. Keys says he didn’t do all that hard work for years to listen to Sikoa. Sikoa countered that he brought Fatu, Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga to WWE and they were all champions. He told Keys to stop being difficult, or he’ll make it difficult.

* Danhausen had an in-ring segment where he threw shirts to the crowd and said Miz destroyed some personal heirlooms. He blamed it on Wade Barrett.

* In a backstage segment, Fraxiom congratulated Rey Fenix on his title win in AAA. Nathan Frazer said he’d love a title shot, and Fenix agreed. Gable walked up and asked to talk to Fenix, apologizing for their match last year at WrestleMania. He said he wore the mask to poke fun at the luchadores and frustrate them because they were frustrating him int he ring. He said the longer he wore it, the more he realized it wasn’t a joke. He apologized and Fenix said Gable understands the culture, and he forgave him.

* Nick Aldis approached Cody Rhodes and asked if the rematch offer is still on. Rhodes said yes. Aldis said Gunther’s team wants him to pick the stipulation and would reveal it next week. Rhodes said he wanted to do the rematch in Kansas City (the June 19th episode of Smackdown).

* King of the Ring Tournament First Round Match: Dominik Mysterio def. Trick Williams, Bron Breakker, and Damian Priest. The finish saw Breakker put Williams through the announce table. Mysterio went after Priest and JD McDonagh came into the ring, with Priest hitting South of Heaven on McDonagh. Mysterio knocked Priest down and hit a frog splash for the win.
