WWE has filed applications for a trio of trademarks in “Succession,” WWE Films, and “Reckoning.” Fightful reports that the company filed the trademark applications on Thursday, with the terms described as you can see below.
Succession: Production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media; providing information in the fields of professional wrestling through broadcast media; providing a website in the field of professional wrestling and sports information
WWE Films: PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF MOTION PICTURE FILMS AND TELEVISION PROGRAMS; PRODUCTION OF SOUND AND MUSIC VIDEO RECORDINGS; MOVIE STUDIOS
Reckoning: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment
Reckoning was previously the name used by Mia Yim during her time in the ill-fated RETRIBUTION stable. There is no word on how WWE plans to use Succession or Reckoning at this time.
