WWE is reportedly already working on much of its WrestleMania 43 creative, with Roman Reigns vs. Oba Femi currently planned for Sunday’s main event. The direction was reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WrestleMania 43 is scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WWE has not announced the event’s official date or a full match card. WWE’s President Nick Khan recently discussed the company’s WrestleMania planning with The Varsity. He said WWE is already working on its creative plans for the premium live event.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE is currently building toward Reigns facing Femi on WrestleMania Sunday. However, the current WrestleMania 43 plans remain subject to change. As seen before, “whatever plans there are will likely change many times due to injuries.”
At Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6, Femi faced Bron Breakker, but the match ended in a DQ finish after a returning Bronson Reed attacked him. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns’ last match was at SummerSlam, where he defeated long-time rival Seth Rollins.
