WWE Officially Announces WrestleMania 43 To Take Place In Saudi Arabia

It’s official: WrestleMania 43 is headed to Saudi Arabia. WWE announced the news during a livestream on Friday from Las Vegas that their biggest PPV of the year will take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2027.
Joe Tessitore opened the livestream that aired earlier today which featured appearances by Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, Logan Paul, and Seth Rollins.
Triple H then came out and recounted WrestleMania’s history a bit from its start in 1985 at Madison Square Garden to a “global phenomenon” bringing people together from across the globe. He noted that WrestleMania is seen in over 200 countries and live in the US on ESPN as well as live overseas on Netflix.
After reiterating that WrestleMania will be live in Las Vegas next year, Triple H talked about WWE’s partnership with Saudi Arabia. He introduced Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh, and then announced that WrestleMania 43 will be held outside of the US and Canada for the first time in Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh Season.
The announcement, which lasted about 20 minutes and only included brief comments from Undertaker, Belair, Triple H and Alalshikh, did not state what city in Saudi Arabia the show will take place in, nor the specific dates. The event was not open to the press.
WWE issued a press release after the event which repeated the above information. It included a statement from Alalshikh which read:
“WrestleMania is already the biggest date on the wrestling calendar and this announcement marks a significant moment in our partnership with WWE. We deeply respect the legacy of WrestleMania and the global prestige it holds among wrestling fans around the world. As part of Riyadh Season in 2027, our vision is to elevate this iconic event to unprecedented heights and deliver a WrestleMania unlike anything the world has ever seen.”
Triple H was also quoted in the press release as saying:
“HE Turki Alalshikh and GEA have made a massive impact on the world of sports and entertainment. They have been phenomenal partners to WWE and we look forward to working with them to bring WrestleMania 43 to new heights.”
