Yota Tsuji Set For NJPW New Beginning USA

IWGP Heavyweight and Global Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji is set to appear at NJPW New Beginning USA next month. NJPW announced on Friday that Tsuji will be making an appearance at the show, which takes place on February 27th at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.

The full announcement reads:

Local time: Friday, February 27th, “THE NEW BEGINNING USA” New Jersey event will feature current IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Global Heavyweight champion Yota Tsuji.

*Other participating wrestlers and match cards will be posted as they are decided.

Tsuji defeated Konosuke Takeshita at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 in a title vs. title match to claim the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. He restored the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at NJPW New Year Dash on January 5th.
