The Young Bucks are set for a major trios match at AEW Full Gear.
On this week’s episode of AEW Collision, Don Callis was seen consoling The Young Bucks for their failure to win the AEW World Tag Team Title number-one contenders match this past Wednesday on Dynamite.
Callis informed Matt and Nick Jackson that he had managed to negotiate the first-ever million-dollar tag team match for Full Gear. He asked The Young Bucks to join forces with Josh Alexander and battle Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) and Kenny Omega.
The Bucks, who are quite desperate for money at this point, simply nodded in agreement, much to the delight of Don Callis.
The Young Bucks have been desperately seeking money to stay afloat since losing their EVP status at All In: Texas. They failed to win the $500,000 tag team match against Jurassic Express at last month’s WrestleDream PPV and subsequently lost a $400,000 eight-man tag match alongside FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) to Perry, Luchasaurus, and JetSpeed last Saturday on Collision.
