Zelina Vega Shoots Down ‘Weird AI’ Video Of Her Discussing WWE Release

Zelina Vega is spreading the word about an alleged video of her discussing her WWE release, saying it’s AI and she never said it. Vega was, as you surely know, among those let go by WWE on April 23rd. Vega streamed on Twitch soon after news of her exit broke and discussed the matter.
Vega posted to Twitter after an AI-generated video went viral that purports to feature her calling the release “the most humiliating moment of my life” and claiming TKO didn’t inform her, instead simply “drop[ping] my name online with the talent cut list.”
Obviously, none of that is true. Vega said on her Twitch stream that TKO called her to inform her, and TKO did not “drop a talent cut list” online. The company has not publicly confirmed releases and hasn’t done so in some time when they let people go.
Vega wrote:
“There’s a weird AI video of me going around talking about my release. Don’t fall for this crap please. I appreciate the support in the comments of course ily guys so much but I didn’t say any of this.
I tried reporting it but it didn’t work. But if you come across this video, IT IS FAKE:”
Vega is expected, like many of the cuts, to be a free agent in July.
