Jennifer Garner To Reprise Role Of Elektra In Deadpool 3

Jennifer Garner is returning to the Marvel universe, reprising the role of Elektra in Deadpool 3. Deadline and THR have both reported that Garner will return to the role of assassin Elektra Natchios, who she played in 2003’s Daredevil and her own 2005 spinoff film, both for 20th Century Fox.

Garner joins a cast that includes Ryan Reynolds as the titular character, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Rob Delaney as Peter, Monica Baccarin as Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. Several other returns from the Fox-produced Marvel films have been rumored but not confirmed at this time, and it’s been similarly speculated (but not confirmed) that the film will have a multiverse angle.

The film is set to release on May 3rd, 2024 and is directed by Shawn Levy from a script by Reynolds, Levy, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese and Zeb Wells.
