The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble took place in Saudi Arabia last month, and TKO’s earnings call revealed how much the company was paid for it. As noted, TKO released its fourth quarter and full year 2025 earnings results on Wednesday, which noted that WWE’s revenue increased to $1.709 billion for the full year (take note that that figure is revenue, not profit).
As the WON notes, it was said on the earnings call by TKO President Mark Shapiro that the Royal Rumble brought in the same price as previous PLEs in Saudi Arabia at $55 million. It had been expected that the Royal Rumble would go for a bigger price due to its greater prestige and name value than WWE’s other Saudi Arabia shows in the past.
WrestleMania 43 is set to take place in Saudi Arabia next year, as announced by WWE in September. WrestleMania is expected to fetch a much bigger receipt from the Saudi Public Investment Fund, with sources indicating to the WON that it will be “well in excess” of $100 million. WWE has not confirmed any such information at this time.
The 2026 Royal Rumble took place in Riyadh and saw Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan win the men’s and women’s Rumble matches, respectively. Reigns will challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42, while Morgan will face Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at the two-night April PLE.
