Elio LeFleur Injury Confirmed On WWE NXT, Will Relinquish Speed Title

Elio LeFleur is officially out of action with injury and will relinquish the Speed Championship as a result, as revealed on this week’s WWE NXT. As noted, LeFleur suffered an injury in a match at an NXT liv event earlier this month and was reported to have an arm in his sling after the show.

It was confirmed that LeFleur is on the shelf on Tuesday’s show during a backstage segment that also featured Sean Legacy and Hank & Tank. Legacy noted that he will be good to go from his ankle injury in a few weeks, while LeFleur said he has tears in his shoulder and will be out for six months. He noted he will be giving up the Speed Championship as a result, with a tournament to crown a new champion starting on next week’s WWE NXT.

LeFleur won the title on the February 24th episode of WWE NXT and held it for 35 days. He did not defend the title during that time.
