Update On Elio LeFleur’s Injury Status After Weekend NXT Live Event

Elio LeFleur reportedly suffered an injury during his match at the NXT live event in Lakeland, Florida this weekend. As previously reported, Lexis King reportedly had an injury scare when he took a knee to the head in a tag team match where he and his Birthright partners Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, and Uriah Connors faced off with LeFleur, Eli Knight, Kale Dixon, and Tavion Heights. It was reported that King was feeling okay after the match.

However, LeFleur also went down during the bout and Fightful Select reports that he did suffer an arm injury. The report notes that LeFleur had his arm in a sling due to the injury. There is no confirmation as to the severity of the injury or whether he will miss time.

Elio LeFleur is the current WWE Speed Champion and is set to team with Eli Knight against The Culling on tonight’s WWE NXT in an NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Tournament Match. WWE has not announced a change to the card as of now. Knight was originally scheduled to team with Sean Legacy, but Legacy revealed on last week’s show that he was hurt and LeFleur stepped in to take his place.
