EC3 has been announced for TNA Rebellion following a reveal on TNA Wrestling’s social media. The announcement came through the company’s ongoing lockbox teaser campaign.
The reveal confirms EC3 as the latest name added to the Rebellion lineup. No additional details have been provided regarding his role at the event or whether the appearance will extend beyond a single show.
EC3 is a former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and also held the Impact Grand Championship during his earlier run with the company. His initial tenure with TNA ended in 2018, after which he moved on to WWE.
Since that departure, EC3 has made limited appearances for TNA. His latest match for the promotion took place at Bound For Glory 2020, where he faced Moose in a one-off appearance. He has not been on the regular roster since then.
Outside of TNA, he has remained active on the independent wrestling circuit. He has also been involved with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), including work on its Exodus project in Cleveland. At this stage, TNA has not confirmed any opponent or match type for EC3 at Rebellion.
