Latest On CM Punk’s Status For Tonight’s WWE Raw

CM Punk hasn’t been seen since the Raw after WrestleMania, and a new report has an update on his status for tonight’s show. The former World Heavyweight Champion last appeared on the Raw After Mania episode, where he had an in-ring segment with Cody Rhodes and teased potentially challenging Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship at a later date.

According to PWInsider Elite (per WrestlingNews.co), Punk is not expected to be at tonight’s show. The report adds that Punk was not backstage at WWE Backlash on Saturday.

CM Punk had been the betting favorite midway through last week to be Danhausen’s mystery partner at Backlash. However, that obviously did not end up being the case and “Minihausen,” aka Mascarita Sagrada, teamed with Danhausen to defeat The Miz and Kit Wilson.

Tonight’s WWE Raw takes place from the Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee and airs live on Netflix. The announced lineup is:

* Street Profits & Joe Hendry vs. Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, & Austin Theory.
* Roman Reigns Acknowledgment Ceremony with Jacob Fatu.
