Alex Windsor Discusses Origins of Brawling Birds, Upcoming Match at Wembley Stadium & More

Alex Windsor recently spoke to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and discussed forming The Brawling Birds with Jamie Hayter, the upcoming AEW Women’s World Championship match at Wembley Stadium at All In: London, and more.

Windsor signed with All Elite Wrestling in June 2025 and went on to form The Brawling Birds with Jamie Hayter in February 2026. The duo will challenge The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship at All In: London next Sunday.

During the interview with Fightful, Windsor revealed she started mulling forming a tag team with Hayter after sharing the ring with her in British wrestling promotion Pro-Wrestling: EVE last year. She also admitted feeling “flattered” whenever The Brawling Birds are compared to APA or The Brawling Brutes.

Windsor also commented on the upcoming match at All In: London, noting that The Brawling Birds and The Divine Dominion have been on a collision course all year. Wrestling at Wembley means to Windsor, and one of the reasons is that she can drive her way to work for once.

Windsor stated that being able to live at home in the UK is extremely important for her and Will Ospreay, as she’s very family-oriented.

Speaking of Ospreay, Alex Windsor revealed she saw him “backyarding” over 15 years ago and hearing “negative connotations” around it, but she could immediately tell that Will was talented.

Ospreay will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at All In: London.
