Note On Reason For Jacob Fatu Being Run Over On WWE Raw

A new report has a bit of context on Jacob Fatu getting run over by The 946 on WWE Raw a couple of weeks ago. As noted, Fatu was run down in the closing segment of the September 28th episode of Raw. he had been in a brawl with The 946’s Royce Keys that took them back into the parking area, where Keys got in a car and slammed the car door into Fatu’s head. As Fatu was recovering, another car showed up an ran him down, which ended up being driven by Jaida Parker.

It had been reported that Fatu was filming a WWE project with Drew McIntyre and Joe Hendry at the time of last week’s WWE Raw. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while the project did coincide with Fatu’s absence, that was not why he was written out. The report notes that Fatu being off TV right now is strictly storyline-related. In other words, WWE did not book the angle specifically to give Fatu availability to film the WWE project and they would have run the angle regardless of the project filming or not.

There’s no word on when Jacob Fatu may return to WWE TV. Solo Sikoa and The Usos are set to face The 946 in six-man tag team action on next week’s WWE Raw.
